Rev. Mark Daniel Wilson

Friday, October 25th  |  Retreat Worship

 

Rev. Mark Daniel Wilson has served the Popham Chapel (1997-2004), the Phippsburg Congregational UCC (1998-2014), and the First Congregational UCC Church of Waterville (2014-present).  He looks forward every year to Maine strawberries and low-bush Maine blueberries.  He enjoys fishing, poetry, music, and children’s books.  He and his partner, Sarah Dawn, live in Brunswick.

Rev. Wilson will lead the Friday 2:00 p.m. worship service, which will include some singing in the style of Music that Makes Community, the reading of Hebrews 11:8-16 and a poem by Rev. Steve Garnaas-Holmes, a brief message titled “Already There,” and the Necrology, or list of clergy with standing in the Associations of the Maine Conference who have died since the last Annual Meeting.

Rev. Raymond Clothier

Saturday, October 26th  |  Opening Worship

 

Rev. Raymond Clothier is the Associate Multifaith Chaplain at Bates College in Lewiston. He enjoys baseball, backpacking and burritos. Rev. Clothier has created a liturgy for Saturday morning worship that invites reflection on the meanings of home.
